All my stuff left yesterday and me will leave tomorrow. Hope to get settle fast so I can go back to do what I really like: watching films and sharing with you all.

Outfest 2010

Yesterday the fest had the award ceremony and the most amazing thing is that a lesbian interest film won the top award, something that's not really common so I hope the film is good. Here are some of the winners

Grand Jury Award for Outstanding U.S. Dramatic Feature Film: A Marine Story by Ned Farr

Grand Jury Award for Outstanding Actress in a Feature Film: Debra Weber in A Marine Story by Ned Farr

Grand Jury Award for Outstanding International Dramatic Feature Film: The Secret Diaries of Miss Anne Lister, James Kent, UK

To check all award winners go here.

This year the fest site went digital with their film guide (is here) and honestly was not easy to read, but I was able to discover one lesbian interest film that totally called my attention and it's new to the blog. Take a look.

La Robe du Soir (The Evening Dress), Myriam Aziza, France, 2009 Watch trailer @ Movie On Companion

63rd Festival del Film Locarno

Today festival organizers announced the complete lineup as the fest will run this year from Augus 4 to 14. To check the 50 World Premiers plus many more films in the several sections, that include three competitive sections, please go here. Can't do my regular post but wanted to let you know.

Enjoy!

Hope

For the past year I've not been able to post regularly as I did since I started this blog about five years ago, but I HOPE that soon I'll be back to 'normal' in the blog and most important, in my life.

I thank dearly to all that visited during the last 365+ days to view or review old posts -and a few new ones- that now have become an interesting database and my way of not forgetting which movies I have seen and which have to watch.

As always there is an exception to the rule, I truly loved being able to cover this year Cannes festival the way I did and promise you all that next year will be even better as there were so many things that I couldn't do this year due to life non-pleasant situations.

It may not be fast, but hopefully soon I'll be back to my regular posting.

Again, THANK YOU!
